Mayo 4-2, Steinmetz will probably be in net for Mayo, this will also be the first game back for Brock Case, and I believe also Scott Gilbertson after their suspensions.

Mayo has scored about 40 more goals this season than Lakeville North
Mayo has offsense, this year North does not.
North has the edge in defense even tho they have given up 10 more goals, they play better competition.
Mayo wins this 6-2

Wow!!! I see a lot of people bashing how bad Lake-North is, they just had a rough time in Hibbing. LN played Jefferson tough last night lost 2-1. I don't think the game will be decided by as many goals that are posted. I will take LN 3-1 empty net.

I would say tighter and low scoring compared to what most are saying.
Much will depend on the goaltending of both teams - if they avoid the softies, there might only be 3 goals total.
Also, I am interested to see if the Spartans can handle the big sheet of ice in Lakeville - their history up there is not so good.
I am going to say Mayo 2 LN 1 - just a hunch.

I agree with almost everything SEMinnHockNut except for the prediction. The game will absolutely come down to goaltending. LN played very very well against Jefferson and could have won. They got a great game from Dylan Thomas in net but with the way theyve gone Matt Arentz will probably start.
Going to be pretty low scoring, I dont see Mayo scoring more than 3 at the most
LN-3
Mayo-2

Substance use.
Rochester has a penalty of half a season for a first offense rather than 2 weeks.

I don't think having these two back will make that big of an impact. It comes down to the goalie.
North 5
Mayo 4

I take that back, it looks like Yaggy will be in net again tonight...
