I think b'ville will bounce back from there loss to Rosemount and win. This game will be as tight as the 1st one.
Braves 4
Jags 3

I agree with you. It should be a good, close competitive game.

The Jags seem to be playing to the level of their competition lately. They'll need more than that against a good Burnsville squad. Should be a doozy, wish I could be there..

this should be a good game, Hendrickson and Barnes' line is the perfect recipe to take down the jags.

Regardless of this jefferson is the better overall team, so this is hard to gauge.

I will say Jags 4-3 in a thriller

Should be a great game, Jefferson has been having some great goaltending and Burnsville has some fire power.

Burnsville- 2

If burnsville (and rosemount, EP, EV) want a shot at winning the lake, Jefferson has to start loosing some of these conf. games. I think Jefferson is the better team, and will win.

Bville 2

It will be a close game. Both teams with strong goaltending. However I do feel Jefferson has more depth. Should be a great game.

Despite the depth issue in Burnsville, I'll give them the edge in this game

Burnsville- 4 en
Jefferson- 2

All of Jefferson's conf. games against the other top teams in the Lake have been at home, which Burnsville is the only team to beat them. Jefferson is hard to beat at home with all that fan support. Don't get me wrong here, they are a good team, just thought this needed to be mentioned.

people have been saying the same thing about burnsville all year long. Bad D, offense isnt clicking, and the team is not pulling out the tough wins. Ther skill is obviously on the team and when the offense starts clicking together(mainly hendrickson and barnes) this team will be hard to stop.
With that said, burnsvilles offense will struggle again on saturday

I totally agree with statement that the Jags play to the level of their competition, they can go with losing by 1 to Roseau to tieing lakeville south to doing just enough to beat a good team in eastview. This isn't necessarily a good thing. B'ville just hasn't lived up to very high expectations...anyway
My breakdown of Saturday's game:
1. B'ville is home, you would think that might be a bit of an advantage but b'ville isn't doing anything special at home as they are 5-3 at home with losses in games like to rosemount (No advantage, yes it's in B'ville's barn with B'ville's fan but do you not think the Jags fans wont make the 15 minute drive to B'ville?)
2. Offense, when you talk about great offenses, B'ville's first line is superior but were talking as an offense as a whole and i don't know as it was stated before if B'ville has the depth. O'Donnell has also proven that he is a phenominal scorer as he continues to rack up the points this year. In the end...(Advantage B'ville, they have two D-I recruits on that top line i mean c'mon)
3. Defense, B'ville at the beginning of the year clearly knew this would be one of there weaker spots and they have proven it i believe this year that it still needs work. The Jags D has been a pleasant surprise as some young talented defensemen have led the way for this group along with some vet seniors. (Advantage Jags, very good at blocking shots also which they'll need to do well on Barnes)
4. Special Teams, B'ville has big play makers with scoring abilities and The Jags play together very well and move the puck very well making it hard for other teams (Advantage B'ville, talented experienced players should give them the edge)
5. Goaltending, Without a doubt the Jags goaltending this year has been amazing and they have been doing it with both goalies spliting time, B'ville a adaquete goaltending that can make the saves that should be made ( Advantage Jags, Swansson will be in nets i believe but we'll see, either way both goalies will make the B'ville players earn it)

The Outcome: B'ville has some nice quality wins this year but hasn;t been able to pull out the big one when they needed it. The Jags are having a fine season thus far and have proved they can win some tight games. You can make the argument that B'ville won a tight game in OT versus the Jags in the last time they meet but what some people forget is that the Jags are a very young team with few seniors and for alot of them it was there first varsity game, now with half a season under their belt this team looks like they can compete with anyone and that's why I'm giving them the edge in this one......
