Jake Hansen is a stud, he's definitely the hottest player in the league now that they put him on a line with Connolly

I forgot about Tyler Thompson. He put up some big numbers as a junior and then left Benilde his senior year. Good to see he is having success.

Were you listing players who bypassed their high school season in Minnesota this year?
If so, you missed Jake Hansen (W.B.L. and Sioux Falls).

Also missed: Tyler Thompson (East) - played for BSM and from Wayzata MN
Brock Montpetit (East) - ?? he played for SSM last year but not
sure if he is from MN or WI originally
Congrats and good luck to all of these players - good representation of Minnesota and High School Hockey!

Played 26 games, has 9 points and is a -5.. That's not all-star material in the USHL. Most of the D players have many more points than that. For the most part, the press regarding the player coming into the league isn't going to put them into the all-star game. Only performance and numbers.

Apparently Saccheti is too awesome for the All-Star game, which is why the Gophers wanted him and SCSU got stuck with crappy LeBlanc.
Sorry Hammy, couldn't resist.
Other future Huskies in the game include Festler and Hepp (yes, I realize he's a goon).

Very well said. Hype is only hype. With the higher speed of the USHL and all the nice talent its a whole different game than High School.
