Lake Conference Scoring Race

Right now according to MaxPreps JT Brown has 20 goals and Tommy O'Donnell has 19. Tommy and the Jags have 10 games left and JT and the Irish have 9 left. JT has only 1 goal since Dec. 22nd where Tommy has been pretty consistent including 6 in his last 4 games. Another factor in this may be that after Tommy on Jefferson they next highest scorer only has 5 goals whereas Rosemount has Percy (12), McManus (11) and Porter (10).

Who does everyone think will have the most goals at the end of the regular season and how many will they have?

If you want it to be a true scoring race, you would have to include assists as well. This is how the NHL determines its scoring champ, goals + assists. On that note, O'Donnell is 11 points behind Brown.

Brown 41 points
Percy 31 Points
O'Donnell 30 points

edit: but if you want to just go by goals, i'll say Brown will end up with more. O'Donnell and the Jags haven't played EP yet, which it will be tough to score on the D of EP.

good choice to factor including assists in there. I would have also brought that point up. If it is overall points leader, then it looks like O'donnel is going to have to pass up Percy as well, lol.

In just a goals race, I think Brown may sneak out the win.

Then you aren't real informed on high school hockey.

I believe the best player in the lake comes from EP. Brown and O'Donnell are benders compared to DIRTY DAVE MEYER.

I would have to argue the McManus/Student pick. Joe Gleason is better than both. I think it's weird how people forget about him.

Good point, i did forget about him. Add him as a third choice on that #5 slot.

I'd actually consider him at the 2 or 3 spot on your list. McManus and Student have yet to commit anywhere. Gleason committed to UND last year. Gardiner's partner, Raiola is also more talented than both McManus and Student, however I do feel they are better than fienhage. Fienhage is a big kid with speed, but not at all a smart player

My list would look a little like this

1 Ness
2 Gardiner/Gleason
3 Gardiner/Gleason
4 Raiola
5 McManus/Student
