What's funny is the Lady Warrior fans talk about PR more than the fans of PR themselves...quite hilarious if you ask me

That's because they are scared of PR actually beating them. If that happens, it proves all their posts worthless. They need to get their jabs in now just in case they get silenced later.

Roseau's schedule doesn't matter, they didnt lose much from last years state championship team. I got Roseau making a repeat appearance in the championship game this year, losing to edina, that is saying they get the 1 and 2 seeds in the tourny

Can somebody tell me why Roseau doesn't suck it up and play with the big boys down at the Xcel at Christmas time? At least that would make their schedule a bit more difficult...

i am a pr fan.....but i think it's pretty obvious that roseau has a better chance of going undefeated and then winning their section. They are an unbelievable team.

Better question .... Why doesn't some of the big boys come up and play in the Roseau Holiday Hockey Classic?

Against a bunch of tier 2 teams, sounds like a waste of gas!

Let's see...LOW, River East, and Farmington (teams Roseau beat 33-4 this year)...in Roseau...at Christmas...who wouldn't want in on that?

Well, perhaps if some other teams went up there, these teams would be replaced...

Roseau, the owner of seven state titles, two in the last ten years and the current defending champ. They control the high ground and the best of everything they need to wage war. The enemy has to go get them, so far nobody has stepped up.

From what it looks like, the metro teams are scared to jump on a bus and come play up north??

What's a little gas for city teams? Or is a 7 hour bus ride too much to handle for your boys??

Back to the topic.

I know that Roseau has the better chance, because PR is already scheduled to lose next Thursday.

I doubt if the Rams will lose by then.

It doesn't seem to matter what teams they play during the season "The Banners Keep Getting Hung Up At The Memorial" now get over the stupid Christmas tournament!

It's like with Marshall and their tournament. Hosting a tournament is a huge money maker, lots of programs really need that. I'm guessing (I could be wrong) Roseau would love to have better teams play in their tourney, not their fault if people won't come. There's plenty of good teams who don't play in Schwan's who could come up and play, or teams from elsewhere. That being said, Red River is good, as is Jefferson, so they're doing what they can it seems.

Back to the topic, TRF will be tough for PR, but they could also make it to state undefeated, anything's possible, we'll just have to see how it plays out. Roseau definitely has the upper hand though. If PR gets past TRF, though, it's probably about even.

The only thing that is worthless is the threads that seem to pop up everyday about Park's chances in the section or if Park will go undefeated or who is the best player in the section or who will win the state scoring title. ALL this to try and persuade some love from others on this board. It just isn't happening.
Park Rapids chance at a section title is 0.00%
