What is all this Blaine talk. Centennial is playing amazing right now and it seems like they have scored 7 or more goals in almost every game lately. Got to give Centennial the nod in Section 5AA as of now.

Yeah, it seems like on any given night a team can win: Ex. MG over Cenn, CP over Blaine so it should be a very tight race to the finish. Look for some great section games from 5AA

1AA- Lakeville South- someone has to win it
2AA- Edina- Edina and Jefferson both deserve to go to state this year
3AA- Eastview- "see 1AA"
4AA- White Bear- playing good team hockey and individuals are improving at the same time; will end the year strong
5AA- Centennial- they are just the best team in the 5AA right now
6AA- Tonka- couple of strange losses, but they are a very good team and play a ridiculous schedule that will prepare them for state
7AA- East- tough call between them and Rapids, it could go either way
8AA- Roseau- no explanation needed

Burnsville has picked it up lately and, if they end the year hot, they could compete with Edina and Jefferson in 2AA.

1AA- Lakeville South (Great goaltending and physical play will get these guys out of their section
2AA- Edina (Very talented team and the easy pick).....on another note though this section i believe has the most potential for an upset, Edina Jefferson and B'ville i think could all go and compete for a state title if given a chance and never forget Hell's Angels
3AA- Rosemount (With the way their playing its hard not to pick them as of now, but i'd watch out for their fellow lake conference foe in eastview)
4AA- Hill (Very interesting loses this team has had this year but i find it hard to believe they won't turn it on come time sections becuz this time is very good)
5AA- Blaine (The only reason i'm not picking centennial is because of their extremly streaky play...thats not good to have)
6AA- Minnetonka (After the win tonight over Benilde i have to give them the edge)
7AA- Duluth East (Should win section unless rapids has something to say...)
8AA- Roseau (Honestly, I don't know if roseau will lose (They've came close to jefferson and RR) until they reach state, very solid team overall)
