East played as a team, Century didn't. plain and simple. East moved the puck very well. Century thinks its a game of hot potato. East is fast, Century struggles. Ewing played well, along with 18, 19, 4, 14,10, and 22. Looking forward to see how East takes it to Mayo, and then how Century responds to Albert Lea tomorow.

Solid showing for the first game of the trip down to Rochester. That's the second shutout in a row against a decent team for Cooper, which is a great sign.

Does anyone know what the shot totals were?

Thank you!

Not surprising...the East MO all year has been tons of shots, few goals. They shut down other teams by controlling the puck for practically the entire game. If Cooper holds up against the occasional odd-man rush, East has what it needs to win.

only thing i saw wrong with the goalie for East was his rebound controll...centurty should have put a couple of them away... but thats bound to happen when you only get 13 or so shots

Cooper's rebound control often is scary, and sometimes he strays a bit far from the net. But his athleticism helps make up for the shortcomings, and it's obvious he's improving as he gains experience.
