WB goes to Rochester on Thursday to play Century. Century is down this year but that is still a long drive for one game. Any thoughts/predictions?

Can't imagine this one will be very close, but I'm betting Century at least gets a goal. 6-1 WBL.

Century probaly had 3 good scoring chances total in their last 2 nonconference games against Rosemount and Duluth East and were shut out in both. They were bad in their blowout loss at home to Albert Lea on Saturday. I say 7-0 WBL.

Does anyone know, is the Rochester Rec center the same as Olstead rec center as listed on Rinkfinder.com?

Why would White Bear Lake choose to play a team like Rochester Century?

And why not play Red River and Moorhead every year rather than Fargo South and Moorhead? It just doesn't make sense...

they go in 2 years contracts. Did you see how century ended up last year? 3rd at state. Century may be down this year but the game will not be a blowout.

there is no faith here because White Bear is playing some really good hockey right now and it is going to be hard to stop them. WB 6 Cent 1

If you want...I can probably show you our third place trophy in the AD's office. Is that enough? Albeit, yes, it'll still be a blowout because this is not last year. But last year is when they set their schedule.

I don't think you've been following hockey. Century and Fargo South have both been very solid teams the last few years. Both teams are down this year but they aren't gonna change their schedule because a team is having a down year. Is the rink nice in Rochester? And does Rochester has a chance in this one? Seems like they lost a lot from last year.

The rink is fine...nothing special. RC has a chance...to score. We'll put it that way.

I'm going to take WB in this one by a score of 4-1. They've been playing well lately and I can't say the same for Rochester.

WBL is the clear favorite, but Century has improved. If Ewing plays well, it might be close, but the Panthers can't seem to score.

WBL 3
Century 1

Never made my prediction.. hopefully the long bus ride won't hurt them sense they are not allowed to get out of school early because of finals.

WBL - 5
RC - 1

The rink is one of the nicer ones in Minnesota to watch a high school hockey game, of course Century hasn't exactly been packing the fans in this year which leads to an empty building. Add to that over at Graham Arena Mayo plays JM and Lourdes plays Owatonna so casual hockey fan probably won't be at the Rec Center so you won't have to worry about getting a good seat.
