First LF goal was scored by a Sartell player. Hirsch got credit for the goal. There wasn't a LF player within 20 feet of the puck. I don't know the scoring but I think Sylvester had the hat trick. Beau had 2 goals and an assist or two. Matt Anez got his first goal of the season. Laird had a goal and I'm not sure who else scored. Maybe Waytashek.

Sounds like another dominated game for Little Falls. Though I wish I could have been there, one of the first games I missed all year. Congrats to LF. Whats this about Sartell scoring on their own goaly? WOW

I wish you could have seen it. The guy who put the puck in his own net was none other then their team captain #15 but I won't say any names. It just wasn't the same without you Gopherpuckplayer.

Hey mite-dad i see you lost the wind pants and sandals are you on the polish sausage diet (just sausage with kraut, no bun) cuttin the carbs and adding the protein. Surprised you were at the game i thought there was a big mite game in Alexandria

I'd say that's deke for the ages. I just wished that it was Sperl that touched the puck last. That would really toped the whole thing off!

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a player scoring on their own net? I wish I could have seen it, because I never have in mylifetime!

I don't know if it was in the '03 or '04 section 2A play-offs...either way...Duluth Marshall was getting a penalty causing Sauk Rapids to pull their goalie...a player tried passing to the point but the pass was way to hard and not to anybody...SR scored on their own net...and DM's goalie, Casey Geissler, was the last Topper to touch the puck. Geissler's goal.
Also, Dallas Stars Matt Niskanen scored on his own goal while playing at UMD...here's a link to the clip...

Sheesh! Tough crowd! I left halfway through the turd period and didn't catch the SOG on the radio on the way home. I was a mess! Tough keeping the Kraut on the sowsow w/o a bun you know.

BTW, rumor has it that Ben will be back for the Willmar game. Anyone else hear that rumor?

I haven't heard anything about when Ben will be returning, but if it was up to me I would keep him out of the Willmar game. It's not like were going to need him to beat a below average team like Willmar. I would make sure he's 100% before returning him to the line up.
