Here is what I would like some I Falls faithful to answer. How close has Mike Hart played to what would have been expected of Brady Hjelle this year?

The season is starting to get longer and it appears the Bronco's games are getting closer, even against weaker teams. I look for the young goaltender to struggle down the stretch, this is where bjelle would have come in big. The weak schedule won't help them against Marshall or even Hibbing come playoffs.

Hart is very good.
Even as a sophomore.
Hart is not Hjelle.
Hjelle is one of 4 goalies playing in the USHL 'all-star' game.
He is in first or second in all USHL goalie stats.
He will be behind Stalock for a year and then the main man at tUMD.
Hart will carry the Broncos (along with the Youso & Corrin brothers and Baldwin and about 15 other guys) to at least the section finals.
(Although there are four strong section 7A teams).
The close games are more of a matter of long seasons and improving teams. They are not playing in the cities or worse 3A.

Aside from the 10-0 win on Tuesday, their games have been closer, but they are still winning. Come tourney time they'll need the experience of playing in close games. No one should be better prepared. They'll have a tough one Friday on the road against Denfeld.

Johnson and Youso on the ice together...
this will be a good one.

What about Stafne?

This kid has seven, yes, seven hat tricks this season.

Everyone is saying how Hjellie isn't there. Well they are 16-1. Yes it was a huge hit for us. The Defense is only allowing about 20 shots a game. Right know our biggest problem is we have to get the defense to stop skating the puck.

16 is a great defensman i cant believe nobody has ever mentioned him before this post! great skater, sees the ice well, and has a great hip check. He may not get a lot of goals but he is the backbone to the Falls defensive unit.
Also i think the recent Virginia game was one of the best games the falls has played this year. they dominated the first two periods and a half and had a little slip up in the third. Watch for the falls to make a strong push in the last part of the season.

I have also noticed that in the last 4 or 5 games for the falls that the second and third lines are starting to get more and more points. thats a very good thing knowing that u can now rely more on the other lines for scoring instead of just their first line.

The Falls has a very tough schedule coming up here. Just defeated Denfeld 4-2, coming up the have Roseau, Hibbing, Grand Rapids, and Fort Frances. I'm sure that will get them more than ready for the playoffs.

Hart is not Hjelle, never will be. He just doesnt have the eye for the puck that Hjelle did. Hart is a good net minder and all. But I have seen better.
And most definitely that Eric Olson kid, wow he is absolutely amazing playing the hockey!!! so is that lad Corrin. he also knows how to play the game great. but that Youso kid. . . Not so much.
hahaha
Yours Truly,
LundyRoy.
