He seems to be doing very well this year. He is currently ranked in the top 20 in overall scoring (30 points in 33 games) and has a pretty good +/- rating.

He plays for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. He hasn't committed to a college yet.

If you don't think he is that good why would you start a thread about him? 30 points through 33 games is not too shabby and a commitment to a WCHA school is certainly nothing to shake a stick at. Congrats Tyler!

I have had the opportunity to watch him play since he was a Pee Wee and beleive that he's made great progress, especially over the past two seasons playing in the USHL. His first year, last season was typical for a high school player in the league. I would say that Tyler had an "above average" season in the league last year. This year his stat's speak for themself. point's are not easy to come bye in the USHL ! It help's that he's playing on a good team in Cedar Rapids but his hard work has paid-off and earned him a scholarship for an up & comming Mavrick team. A direct result of his development in the league. Great job Tyler !!!
