the way many pick at their schedule being "weak", one could make the argument that even though they are rated #1 in many polls (lower in others), some ironically could make the argument they are indeed a darkhorse.

Yes there are stronger schedules, agreed. :D

I don't care about underdogs, Roseu will win. There is no need to look at other teams.

I know Roseau has great talent and is a great team, but I dont want them to win it, actually a good dark horse team could be Rosemount

For a darkhorse I'll say Holy Angels. They are playing well right now and could easily ride momentum to be as good as expected.

Still, I think the champ comes from this list:

Roseau
Edina
Minnetonka
Benilde
Hill-Murray

A real darkhorse that nobody would expect is if we had a champion from section 1AA. Could you imagine LN, LS, Mayo, or Owatonna winning state. That would be cool to see.

Benilde

by the one to love
It would be just great to see a team at least make it to the finals who has a losing record. Where it just so happens they got hot at the end of the year.

Holy Angels. Written off as dead about a month ago and now playing very well. When a talented but young puts it all together, Look out.

We will know alot more about their chances tomorrow. A stong showing against Minnetonka will probably make them a scary team to play in sections.

And at that point hell would freeze over and Minnesota hockey would have to admit that the whole state had a horrible year of hockey

Not a horrible pick, but I don't think you can say that nobody is ready for them. I would guess they've earned the respect of the teams that have yet to play them. They've made enough noise to at least get the "big guns" best shots.

Absolutely! The new Hwy 36 has brough the city together in a unity never seen before...

The "New" NSP will rally around itself at Polar Arena - instead of getting squashed by a semi loaded with cement blocks trying to get there as in the past.
