with their record, they should be seeded at least in the top half of the AA tournament

I mean come on, they're undefeated

Right now PR has something alot of good teams do not.

They are hungry, they are proving to others what they already believe, that they can play hockey.

Be afraid, be very afraid!

No, I don't think they can beat Warroad. They will have to work hard to get through the semis, EGF, TRF and Bemidji are similar to them wothout a Lehrke.

My section 8A pick is Warroad, was, is and will be until they show something less.

In fact, I like them in the A finals against IFalls.

But PR can play.

How can I not. Once a Bronco always a Bronco.
It could be Hibbing and you can't rule out Virginia.
But THE Falls has a good team as does Marshall.

I want the Broncos, and if you do not think they are capable, well then I cannot explain it to you.

It was not started as a serious thread, but those that are going by what history they know are making a mistake.

Remember when the Stars of Holy Angels were consistently losing by 3, 4, 5 goals?
Remember when Duluth East was a once every ten year team?

This is a glory year for Park Rapids. Their mites will emulate these guys and work just a bit harder and another cycle will pop up down the road somewhere, then again, and again...
if Stahnke and the youth people do things right.

I hope they do, this is the State of Hockey, not just the Roseau or Edina of Hockey.
Go watch a good hockey team sometime, go watch Park Rapids this year.

This is a glory year.

And like Shanty says....

IT CAN HAPPEN!

:D

the biggest challenge PR will have is their fans getting too cocky and annoying that they lose the backing of the independent fan 8)

I guess I haven't seen any of them being cocky, perhaps pumped up - as they should be. The fans are not out on the ice, however.

chances are not good for pr to win the section still, but they have more confidence and prolly a better shot now.

And as far as your bets...i am sure you would have or were taking bets that they wouldnt beat trf last night...i beleive your prediction was trf 5 pr3
