Denfeld is too good of a hockey team to not get a big win this season. I'm taking Denfeld in a tight one. It's gonna be chippy and probably downright ugly at times. The two teams pretty much hate each other, should bring a decent crowd to the DECC.

Oh come on when was the last time Denfeld won a game they weren't supposed to? The only one I can think of is beating SCC 6-2 I believe it was in the 03-04 or 04-05 season?

Denfeld just won a big game 2 to 1 over Warroad. Denfeld 3 Marshall 1 Stafnie or Johnson with a empty net goal to seal the win for the Hunters.

I understand Mausolf might be out for the game afetr the penalty v TRF today - could be decisive. Still, I've going with Marshall by 1.

Marshall by at least three...someone mentioned the big win over Warroad...The Hunters were like I said in the scores thread...dominated everywhere but where it counted...on the scoreboard. If Warroad finishes AT ALL that could have been 5 or 6 to 2 maybe 3. Denfeld got a good performance out of their goaltender who gave up many rebounds that Warroad couldn't bury. Johnson did the damage on a couple of wingers giveaways and is a great two-way player...Stafne is a one-way floater. Marshall is too deep. =;

DM is deeper then DD. DD has one line and marshall has 3 good lines. mausolf i think is able to play. they play cretin on tues anyway so if he was to be out he would still be fine for the DD game. and that is a game changing fact.

I watched the Hunters pound Lourdes in Rochester. Very fast team!
I have not seen Marshall, but have watched their progress and scores throughout the year, but sense the Hunters momemtum with wins lately.

Hunters by a goal, with Marshall outshooting them... Wish I could be at the DECC that night, good hockey! :(

Marshall will still have an added spark from their loss to Warroad. As is often talked about, Denfeld only has one line and not a lot of defense. Marshall's very very good defense can shut that line down. If they do, Ill say Marshall wins 6-3.

I've only seen Denfeld play about 6 games this year but this game was far and away the worst game I've seen them play. They looked like they didn't even care and I can guarantee they won't have that same attitude against Marshall. You can't base your comment off a single game. It was obvious to me Denfeld was deflated from a tough loss to I Falls less than 24 hours before the Warroad game.

fkahckyprofessor20...that's about the lamest post I've seen you put up here all season. That's a terrible excuse...maybe Warroad made them look that bad however they escaped with the win. Deflated give me a break...how about the team they played that just beats a top team in OT is pumped and don't get to bed early, jump on a bus at 8am for a 5 and a half hour trip and play a late afternoon game...their the ones that should have had a let down. But they out skated, out hit and out shot and gave a great effort even though they came up short against another top ten team. Better rethink that one professor...The Hunters are the hunted in this one. :shock:

Not whining at all "professor" just refuting your claim that Denfeld will prevail...Marshall CAN and WILL wipe the ice with them. :lol:

In fact, the only one "whining" was YOU about being "deflated". How bad will you whine after they really get whipped both on and off the scoreboard. :wink:

Undercover you better come back to reality!! We have 2 good teams out there thursday night. Either one could win this one. If you think Marshall is going to wipe the ice with the hunters. You are sadly mistaken ! It will be a close game and either team could win. Im glad there not in the same section anymore. Both theams could make it to state this year! I think Denfeld wins 3 to 2 Should be a great game and hope theres a big crowd to see two great northren teams battle.

"Wiping the ice with them;" "Whipping them on and off the scoreboard;" followed by a prediction of just a 3 goal win. Come on buddy, seriously? :roll:
