Association Size

Anyone have (or know of) a list of local associations by size (number of participants)?
For a number of years, White Bear Lake held the distinction of being the largest in the state. Six or seven yrs ago Oseeo-Maple Grove was poised to overtake top position. Now, I would guess that EP may have also added to their ranks.
Just curious.

I thought Edina's mite program was not officially part of its association.

The numbers Elliott has given include players and coaches registered with USA/MN Hockey and are not broken down by levels.

my thought this does not include coaches- many of the larger associations have 200-300 coaches. I believe these numbers are only players.

These are players only - all mites may not have been counted yet, but I would guess these will be pretty close to final numbers.

This would be mite through Jr gold (HS players would be included if they registered with USA Hockey).
This is the number of registered players as of mid-January. Some adjustments are always made, usually upward, but if some came in wrong and need to be reclassed to a different association that may happen.
This does not take waivers in and out into consideration.
I don't have the paperwork at home with me but will double check and re-post D6 numbers tomorrow.
