Hey mite-dude me and ap4mvp were hoping you would share some of your saurkraut with us on tuesday we didn't make a big enough batch of homemade kraut this year and the kraut you buy in the store isn't any good

We already got the jalapeno and cheese sausage warmin up for the game.

We'll try to sneak you a bun cause that low-carb diet must be killin the amount of kraut you can put on your sausage.
Also Couture won't accept anything less then a running time third period

Hey mite-dad hope to see ya there or do you have another big mite game to go to?

I hope to be there if the wife lets me.

No Mite games on Tuesday, they got their rearends handed to them all weekend at the Crosby Jamboree. My mite got a nice goal though from behind the net off the goalie's skates.

I don't know what I'll do next year, might have to change my name to Squirt dad as I'll have two at that level (maybe).

I think most are forgetting who was in net that night. I think it would have been a very differnt outcome if Sperl was in net that evening. I bleieve that it will be a very different outcome now that sperl will be in the net, thats not unless he gets the flu again!

I voted for LF, but SR always gives them problems so this could be a very interesting game.

Cant blame that one on the goalie, SR just flat out played and out hustled the flyers that night. Sperl wouldn't have saved the day. Should be a good game.

LF wins 6-3. Game was very tight, 4-3 two-thirds of the way through the 3rd period. Christianson had a shorthanded breakaway that could have tied it, but Sperl made the stop. LF got a PP goal (Hirsch) soon after then Beau Hanowski scored (I think shorthanded) to ice the game.
Of note, Ben got his 100th career goal and Beau got his 200th career point tonight.
Scoring:
Gosiak 1 goal
Berglund 1 goal
Ben H. 1 goal
Beau H. 1 goal
Hirsch 1 goal
And either Kalis, Laird or Lange scored a goal. I can't remember.
I think Christianson had a couple and Cariveau had one for SRR.
SRR has a nice team. Fast, scrappy and fairly young. They should be excellent in the next couple years.

What the heck, I emailed the radio station they said that the game was postponed, but just awhile ago when I was driven past the arena I seen people leaven there, dang thought I was going to be able to see the game. It's still good to hear that LF got the W, and now can look forward to the rest of the season

How where the shots against Sperl? Good Sloopy? And what about LF's Goals, any pretty ones?

The prettiest one was Beau's. Berglund's was a nice slapper. The biggest one was Hirsch's rebound. No question, SRR was gaining the momentum and that put a quick stop to it.

LF should have had seven goals but a out of position official failed to see the puck cross the line of the goal unlike every person on the east side of the arena.
Mite-dad did you see this

From my point of view it looked like the puck crossed the line easy by a foot or so then the SR goalie pulled the puck back.
