Lake Conference Final Stretch...

Comin down the last few weeks of the regular season we have quite a race in the Lake with I'd say potentially 4 teams now in the running (Irish,Eagles,Blaze,Jags) and maybe eastview if they get goin....
Anyway here are the reamining teams with they key games in my mind
Rosemount- 12-2 remaining key match-ups:
@ EP
Burnsville
EP- 11-2-1 remaining key match-ups:
Burnsville
Jefferson
Rosemount
@Jefferson
Burnsville- 11-3 remaining key match-ups:
@EP
@Eastview
@Rosemount
Jefferson- 10-3-1 remaining key match-ups:
@EP
@Eastview
EP
Looking at this i think anyone would say EP definitely has the hardest remaining schedule down the stretch. With that said i don't believe they'll be atop the Lake when this is all finished. Burnsville has a few more gos with some solid teams all on the road which will be tough but we'll see what happens. Jefferson plays Ep weird in that there is only 1 game between playing both games with them but those 2 games will be huge in determining the final standings...i wouldn't count the Jags out quite yet.
*Ofcourse all these predictions are assuming no huge conference upsets happen within the next few weeks which in high school hockey they are likely to happen quite a bit
Final Outcome of the Lake:
1) Rosemount
2) Jefferson
3) Eden Prairie
4) Burnsville
5) Eastview
6) Lakeville South
7) Eagan

Lakeville North
9) Chaska
10) Apple Valley
11) Kennedy (hopefully not 0-20)

Im going with Jefferson to take the Lake. I really think they are playing well, and are only going to get better.

I would have to agree, I think overall they are the best aside from inexperience. Rosemount should be able to close the lake, but its gonna be a nail biter. I wouldn't rule out EP yet they are solid aswell.

Rosemount is the pick to win, but If the question was asked....who is the best team in the Lake. I gotta go with Eden Prairie.

From what I have seen Eden Prairie plays smart. They don't seem to make the mental mistakes. Player for player I think they are very even with Rosemount/Jags/Blaze...I just feel EP is the best of the bunch...by a fine one.

My favorites would be Jefferson or Rosemount to win it. EP is solid but they still have 4 tough games left. The 2 with Jefferson/EP could be the most important of any because there are 2 of them left. The thing with Rosemount is they only have Burnsville and EP left even if they win 1 and lose the other as long as they win the rest which they should but you never know they are looking very strong to take the title. Could even see 2 of these teams be Co-Champs this year which would kinda be a bummer but it happens.

I may be an idiot however I am going with Eastview to win the lake. They will run the table and Rosemount will lose 3 of their final 6. LS or LN will take them and so will EP and Burnsville. EV's schedule is the easiest of the contenders down the stretch because they have Bloomington and Burnsville at home which should be the difference. They are only a game back of Burnsville and Bloomington and hold the tie breaker against EP who has a very tough schedule to end the season. We will see!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you are one. I may not like Eastview but they really are in a hole. They will have to wait till sections to have their chance at winning anything.

I'm going to come straight out and say it, you are an idiot. If everything shakes out the way you say, then Eastview has a 0% chance of winning the conference. Rosemount would finish 15-5 and Eastview 14-4-2, giving them both 30 points. Rosemount has the edge in wins and head-to-head competition. Not saying Rosemount will win it either.
In all reality, the winner of this conference is unpredictable. Of the top 4 teams (Rosemount, EP, Burnsville, Jefferson), I see Rosemount and Burnsville getting atleast 3 more wins, EP will get atleast 2 more wins (play 4 games that could go either way), and Jefferson winning atleast 3 more (play 3 games that could go either way). This is going to come down to the wire, and should be exciting to see who comes out on top.

Sorry... your a idiot
The top 5 teams are all very strong, but looking at the points and remaining games EV has a 1% chance if that. Gotta be realistic and go with the baby blue Jags.

I think Rosemount has the advantage. Given their schedule, they should win the lake. EP has a tough closing schedule with three of of the top teams. Two of Jefferson, one Burnsville and one of Rosemount. Lakeville teams aside and not to be taken, as they can upset anyone at the top. It is Rosemounts time to take the lead.

Down to the final games, Rosemount appears to hold the edge. Jefferson appear to be holding their own. EP, Burnsville and Easeview are looking up. There a a number of big games left to be played. Section playoffs entitlement will be left to how these teams finally finish.

Tonights games for the big 4:
Jefferson @ Apple Valley
Jefferson has the upper hand won 3-0 before with all 3 PP goals. Valley could have had some bu Jefferson's goalie played really well. Freshman Gretz in goal for AV tonight, if Jefferson plays their game they will win tonight by 2 i'll say.
Eagan @ Burnsville
Eagan shocked everyone with a 4-0 win earlier. Burnsville will use this as motivation to take it to them tonight or Eagan just may have their number this year. I say Burnsville by 3-4 though.
Lakeville North @ Eden Prairie
North 5-4 earlier, again surprising most Lake Conf. follwers. EP though at home I'll go with them by 2-3 in this one.
Rosemount @ Kennedy
Not much to be said, the Irish get the W.

Jefferson wins by 2
Eagan by 1
EP by 3

Eastview vs Chaska, EV wins by 3

I've seen Rosemount play a couple of times, to me they looked really good. I hope Rosemount wins the Conf and Section.

i may be bias but i think burnsville will win. Goaltending is strengthning and team is showing depth.

There showing depth because there JV team could easily beat Kennedy's, Chaska's, Eagan's, Lakeville South's and Lakeville North's varsity teams. They are unreal. Burnsville hockey looks pretty good for the next couple years.
