I'm curious as to what the seedings will look like for this section. Also I noticed a playoff date for this section is Tuesday, Feb. 26 @ the Colesium. Is that a double header for the semi-finals? If so, sweet. Then I'll only have Monday that week that I need to fill with a game.

Usually the winners of the #1 and #4 seed games play on tuesday and the winners of the #2 and #3 seed games play on wednesday. The first game is the semis of another section, last year I believe it was 4 with wayzata, anoka, blaine, etc. This year is it 5AA?

Well I mean, c'mon. If you're going to post rankings, at least make it look like you know what you're talking about. Sheesh.

In looking at the dates, Feb 20, 23 Aldrich Arena I would say the 20th would be the sub section games and the 23rd would be the quarterfinals. The next dates are the 26th and the 29th. I would guess the 26th would be the semifinals and possibly they would play them back to back at the Coliseum as they have 5AA at the Coliseum on the 27th. Looks like it will be 5AA and then 4AA finals on the 29th.

I agree with the seedings. but the 3 and 4 seed could be flip flopped.

I would flip 4 and 5 and also 2 and 3 but thats cuz I think MV will beat Tartan and Roseville will beat WB when they play each other again. Otherwise for right now it looks good

Neither do I. But then again, it's the playoffs where just about anything can happen.

I kind of agree with you, but any one of the top 4 or 5 seeds are capable of beating Hill. If they do end up playing WBL, that game will not be a cakewalk.

I read the same things about AHA the previous 2 yrs. I'll say it is Hill's section to lose and strange things have been known to happen come sections...that's what makes it such a special time. Having said that, if Hill plays at there best, they will win this section.

Agreed; if Hill comes into section finals too cocky they could definately lose, especially to White Bear when there is such a big rivalry.

It takes a deliberate planned attack with a hot goalie. I see any one of #2 through 6 capable of beating Hill.

The top 4 teams are in good shape to keep what seed you put them in it will be a great section championship if Hill losses  . Tartan is only 2 games behind WB for the two or three seed. what is Rosevilles' record anyways.

Roseville is 12-7-0

The winner of the 2/7 WB/Roseville game will probably deciede the #2 seed.

when mv plays tartan, Im sure the winner will be in the 4 5 game, but if MV were to win would stillwater or tartan be in that game with them

This section is tough to predict just based on what has happened so far in the regular season. Hill is the best team in theory but the fact that they split their regular season matchup with Tartan could make for an interesting 1 vs. 4 semifinal if those seedings hold true. White Bear and Roseville have split the first two with the rubber match coming soon, Stillwater and White Bear split in the regular season too. All this (and what is yet to come in the final weeks of conference play) leads me to believe this will be one of the better "formerly known as Section 3AA" tournaments in a long time.

Why wouldn't Stillwater be ahead of both MV and Tartan? Stillwater is 8-9 in conferance and MV is 3-10.
