Roseau's Perfect Season in Jeopardy??

Roseau Rams - 6 Games from a perfect regular season, can they survive the final stretch?

02/01/08 at St. Cloud Tech
02/02/08 at Brainerd/Pillager/Pierz
02/07/08 Thief River Falls (8A)
02/09/08 vs. Blaine (5AA), 1:30 PM(Baudette Bay)
02/12/08 International Falls (7A)
02/15/08 Grand Rapids (7AA)

What do you think? A lot of interesting matchups coming up for the Rams. They have Brainerd, in a day game on the road after a night game at section opponent St. Cloud Tech. They have Blaine on the lake. I'Falls, and Rapids to finish it up. Tough stretch, will the Rams fall short or complete the Regular season 25-0?

Roseaus the greatest team ever. Nobody has a chance. These threads only give false hope.

I disagree. Edina's the greatest team ever. Nobody has a chance. These threads should never leave out Edina.

Brainerd might beat Roseau. Long road trip, day 2. But if they don't, no one will...until Edina, of course.

I think they will stumble, I got them losing to Blaine on the lake. Crazy things can happen out on the lake...

GB, tough to lose to Edina in the Regular Season without having them on the schedule...

If Roseau plays the rest of the season like they did last night against Warroad, they will be hard to beat. A great team victory with excellent puck movement. 7 different players scored goals in their 8-0 victory.

Roseau goalie Mike Lee has only given up 17 goals in the 301 shots he's faced this season. He has a GAA of 1.00 and a save percentage of .944. He gives up on average 1 goal for every 18 shots. The most shots Roseau's given up this season was against Grand Forks Red River at 29. The hard facts are that Roseau's team speed and tough defense doesn't give up many good scoring opportunities, and when opponents do finally get a good scoring opportunity - Lee's there to shut the door.

Does all this mean the Ram's will finish the season undefeated? No, of course not. But I think anyone who wants to be honest and objective would have to say that it will take a tremendous effort of an entire team to beat them.

Do you really think Roseau will play with the same effort and intensity every single night that they did against their hated rival? It only takes one off night to lose a game you should have won. That said, I think it will take a one in a million effort by someone to beat them and I do think it will happen. Hopefully for Roseau it comes before sections...

Chuck Norris isn't as quick as he once was. Even in the role of Walker, Texas Ranger there's no chance of beating Roseau. Dude's like 60.

It is true that the old Norris Division was named after Chuck Norris. Little known fact.

You need to reread what I wrote. I never said the Rams "will" play the rest of the season like they did last night, I said "if" they play the rest of the season like they did last night. Definitely a game against Warroad is going to bring out the best in the Rams, but the Rams can still choose to bring out their best even if it's not Warroad they're playing.

Hence the odds makers' confidence in this sure bet.

That is not odds Clown, that is a color commentary!

But it would seem you favor the green anyways :?

That depends - I think last night was more than just a rivalry game. It was a game to make a statement, which I doubt anyone will argue that's what they did.

The Rams know what it takes to peak at the right time. Coach Oliver said this is a great start towards building for the end of the year / playoffs, etc.

Yes, anything can happen on a given night - but, I think they are starting to play some excellent hockey. It will take a tremendous effort to beat them right now.

It Looks like, to me, that the RAMS will end up 19-6.
