which sticks are the best.....i've always had reebok but they break near the top a lot

Christian goalie sticks are extremely underrated

the new Nike Bauer sticks are an atrocity to the art of goaltending. I absolutely hate them.

I like the nike bauer composite stick. I was shocked when it was the same price as an RBK wood stick. They were both 90 bucks at sports world in EP.

Montreal 9000, about $70 and are good for about 3 weeks of practice without any paddle work.

The Torspo's look cool anyone know where they sell them at?

I've had a couple TPS TLP Technologys that fell apart in a couple of practices, a shot to the paddle would crack the whole thing.

from the looks of it on gsbb, the northville custom sticks look absolutely amazing!

Its to bad that Warrior bought Montreal, montreal used to be on of the only sticks still made in europe (i know TPS still makes a few in europe, my ice cap is made there)

I picked up and paddled around a tps r6, wonderfully nice stick, has great balance to it, i can only imagine what the R8 is like!

i agree with lundqvist rbk does ruin brands only thing i have from them are skates. i use the tps summit sticks theyre amazing and they hold up for a really long time, ive gone through 2 this season and just got 2 more.

Hey TPS if you stopped a few more you would probably have had to buy more than that by now.

I have heard that some respected coaches are saying players should use wood sticks, or 2 pc sticks, rather then composites, because of the ability to receive passes better.
I will assume that this is because of the cushion, or give that wood has over the composite.
If this is true, wouldn't it be out right nuts to use a composite goalie stick that pucks would bounce right off of even more? or are they made differently then say a players composite hockey stick?

I still like Greg Stutz's shtick the best. Faust tried unsuccessfully to imitate it.

I bought 3 Vapor XX's at 90 dollars each. i had them since the start of bantams and still use them today 1 year later. They are great sticks i like them, but i disagree about what you said about them price wise. compared to some, or most rbks the XXs are cheap and good quality. just my two cents

It honestly is really all about how you use them. there are some sticks that are real springy, (Sherwood RM9 comes to mind) as to where you can poke check and it will shoot to the boards!

I prefer wood/foam sticks for a mixture of lightness and semi durability, I just love the look of wood compared to that of carbon fibre.

I loved the GS Pro Foam stick from Itech. Very light weight! Although it didnt withstand me banging it against the boards after an o.t. loss... so now I use a Sherwood 7000, which are also very well constructed sticks

Lol the Curtis Curve was ridiculous. Its all about the Vector V10.0 composite with the Kolzig curve. You can never go wrong with Kolzig.
