Should be a good game. Stillwater has a tough finish CEC, DE and AHA. How has CEC been playing? I see they lost 2-1 to DE the other night will there be a letdown? Can't judge them by that game as it's there big rival game as everyone comes to play in those.
If Stillwater comes to play it should be a good game.

Stillwater could definitely pull this one off if they work like they did vs WBL, Roseville, and Woodbury (even though they lost @ Bielenberg). I'll say Ponies 4-3. Hopefully they have something left over for DE tomorrow night, but need to hyper-focus on CEC first.

Cloquet has not been playing well at all lately. They did finally get it together to play a very good game against East, but that was probably more attributable to the rivalry than anything else. I'll take Stillwater in a close one...but hopefully the Jacks can wear down the Ponies a bit for East tomorrow.

0-0 after 1st pretty even game CEC 4 PP shots were like 4-6
1-0 after 2nd CEC 3 PP shots were 10-21
2-0 end good game but Stillwater finally gets a PP attempt halfway through 3rd. Sorry but 7-1 on penalties is ridiculously one sided. Pretty marginal calls except for the too many men.

I thought it was more like 9-1 on the penalty calls, because the Ponies had 7 after the 2nd period. I thought they deserved 5 of the 9 but you know how that works. At any rate, there were definitely a few calls missed on CEC that would have made it seem a little less one-way. Ponies did fine on PK but the goalie, Rick Cotter, certainly deserves an attaboy for a job well-done. Good game by both teams...fun to watch.
