SECTION 3
1. Rosemount- Most people's 1 seed for this section
2. Woodbury/Eastview- explained below
3. Woodbuy/Eastview- explained below
4. Cretin-Derham Hall- lone team that falls right in the middle of everything
5. Hastings- beat Eagan so they get the nod ahead
6. Apple Valley/Eagan- explained below
7. Apple Valley/Eagan- explained below
8. Henry Sibley
9. Park

The 2 and 3 is close Eastview has the harder schedule but Woodbury has the better record. Both teams are strong this may come down to the teams that they could be facing and how their coaches rank those teams out for who they want to match-up with.

The 6 and 7 is another close one. Eagan won the first meeting but they play the last game of the season at Apple Valley also. If Eagan wins its a no brainer they will be the higher seed, if Valley wins then I could see it coming down to who finished higher in the conference or again maybe if Woodbury and Eastview see 1 of them as a team they would rather face they would rank them accordingly to help themselves out.

How likely is it for these seedings to change?

Section 2AA

1) Edina (One loss on the year, #2 in the state, this seed is locked up)
2) Burnsville (Top 2 in the Lake, 2-0 vs Jefferson, should be #2 seed)
3) Jefferson ( Solid record, solid record in Lake Conf. play, higher sched strength than AHA and wins vs trojans and spuds will put them at the #3 seed)
4) AHA (Good record but they fall below the Jags because of the schedule and when they played the same teams....AHA-wayzata lost, jags tied wayzata......AHA vs moorhead lost 7-1, jags beat spuds 4-1)
5) Chaska (Losing record but play a rough schedule in the Lake which should put them at #5)
6) Shakopee (Beat PL in first match-up, not sure if they played again)
7) Prior Lake (IT'll come down to head-to-head matchups between Shako and PL)
8) Kennedy (Need to win a game first......sry)

What's the reason that Edina and Jefferson don't play during the regular season? Keep us in suspense? Same section.....15 minute drive.....

For the close ones, Woodbury and Eastview for example, very likely.

Id say that Govs last post on this thread is really representative of his contribution to the bored since he started posting.

hockeyjunkie, I think you are right on but Hastings at 5? I think Eagan should be at 5 based on the whole season. The 2-1 game with Hastings was back in Decemeber.

What'd I miss? Was that a cheap shot? I thought I was helping out. :(

Go read the the HM/STA thread... I even gave your Raiders a little credit.

Oh... but there is something there.

It's another prime example of a right winger only believing what they want to believe, and disregarding actual facts that are presented to them!

Listen here Govs, your comments are totally inappropriate and could lead to the production of even more weapons of mass destruction that suddenly get hidden.

Besides, I am OK with the "reality" presented in the section standings.

It's kind of a close call I mean both play some solid teams and when you look at quality wins Eagan has Burnsville. Hastings has wins against Roseville and Woodbury. Hastings has the head to head advantage and CDH has beaten them pretty solid 2 times already so they will try and set that game up. That's kinda how I came about Hastings at the 5. The records are very similiar.

Yah, I looked at it a little closer over lunch and it is more of a tossup than I thought. Anyway you seed it, it looks pretty strong for the top 4 teams to be in the semis which could be more interesting than some think.
