Should be a nice doubleheader ! Who wins ? Marshall 4 CDH 3 Denfeld 4 Rapids 3 Both Marshall and Denfeld are coming off tough games were they lost. I think both games will be close but the two duluth teams win.

Still 1-1 2 minutes into the 3rd.

The WEBC announcers sound like a broken record every time Roy takes a face off for Rapids, as I haven't heard anyone control one against him yet.

Denfeld 1st line on the ice pretty much all the time according to the announcers.

Jason Johnson headed to the box for Denfeld for checking for behind for a 2 & 10. This could be HUGE!

GR penalty on Skrbec for roughing @ with 3:47 remaining. Announcers intially made it sound like a checking from behind. Refs saw something less than that.

Sparen gets free short handed and scores as the PP end for Denfeld. Seretore takes a penalty and the Hunters pull the goalie so it's 6 on 4 with 45 seconds to go.

Final shots were 25 a piece.

Denfeld was without their top scorer Jake Johnson tonight.

Where was Jake Johnson?

GR was without #1 D-man Kosak tonight - and will be for the rest of the year due to injury. They also just got Palki back from his 2nd concussion tonight. Don't know if he was tentative at all listening on the Duluth station.

Shots even, penalties about even. Game still goes to the team who puts more in the back of the net.

Good Luck GR this friday night. Heading north to face the Rams will be a daunting challenge to finish the regular season.

Good momentum builder for GR. Tabaka played great in the nets again, and Rapids played well as a team. PP struggled again, but showed a few new twists in it that look promising. D played well tonight which was nice to see. Rendle had a very nice game and a couple of young D stepped up and had nice games to fill in for the injured Kosak. All around solid effort heading into the lion's den on Fri. night.

He was out with a shoulder injury I believe. I'm sure they'll sit him again in Saturday's regular season finale against Greenway to make sure he's 100% for playoffs. What kind of injury does Kosak have?

One of the radio announcers in the pregame, said it was indeed a shoulder injury.

Kosak has a lower body injury. The reffered to Johnson's shoulder on the radio and Kosak's leg.

Yeah, always hate to see players get hurt right before playoffs. I've heard Jake will be ready for the start of playoffs next week, but that's tough for GR's Kosak. Especially since it's his senior year.

As for Kosak's injury goes its a knee injusy the same knee he has had problems with in the past. I m not sure on the logistics on it but it doesnt sound good.
