If you go by the state rankings. Who has the best overall "A" program?

I forgot to add "Other" as a choice.

No brainer, Roseau about 10 times less kids and still can compete.

Agreed, you have to look at the size of their program and then look at the quality of the kids on their A teams. It's easy to be good just because you have the numbers. The real story is told when a small association is able to compete against the ranks of the larger associations that only carry 1 A team!

I think rankings have been beat to death on this forum. At least its playoff time, so we can hopefully settle such debates on the ice. How do you define "better" anyway? :?

Except for Edina probably feeds about 5 private high schools on top of Edina HS.

Incorrect, when that has occured in the past the Edina Varsity team has not done all that well. This year is a different story the top guns have remained at Edina and not moved on.

are you talking about a youth program being good now? or are you talking about building kids for thier future?

kids now --- Edina or White Bear Lake
for kids futures --- hand down Roseau.

Edina or Wyazatta

Yes these are both large associations but numbers don't equate to how good the team is/will be. The skaters/families have to put in the time, effort and $$$ to develop talent over the entire year......

Roseau has a good program........
