Rank the top possible 4 state tourney participants and the 4 other teams that will make up the quarterfinals:
1) Minnetonka (6AA) over BSM
2) Roseau (8AA) over Brainerd
3) Hill Murray (4AA) over WBL
4) Burnsville (2AA) over Edina
Remaining teams to make state
3AA - Rosemount over Woodbury
7AA - Anoka over Cloquet
5AA - Blaine over Centennial
1AA - Lakeville South over ???

If Roseau wins 8AA, they will be the #1 seed. You can make your argument for Minnetonka or Edina, but the fact is that the defending state champ coming down undefeated will end up with the #1 seed.
My opinion (this is who I'm picking to advance):
#1: Roseau
#2: Edina
#3: Minnetonka (also think Benilde, if they advance, will be at the #3 seed as well)
#4: Hill-Murray
Burnsville would be next in line, followed by the Centennial/Blaine winner. Duluth East would fall in next if all others before them fall.
Speculation is fun.....tourney time is upon us.

This is exactly what I'm guessing. Too bad Burnsville isn't in section 1 like they were in the 80's.
