How do you go from leading the Gophers as a Freshman in points to a non factor this season. What are peoples thoughts of why bariball is having a sophmore slump and what can we expect for his junior year.
What I know.

Jay is a good player, but he is not having a productive season because of the lack of support from his line-mates. For example last year Ryan Duncan, who won the 2007 Hobey Baker Award with the Sioux, was paired with Oshie, and Toews. aka the "DOT" line. (Sorry Gopher fans, best example I can make)
Last year Duncan was more productive statistically than this year; reason being Toews left to play in the NHL. Almost the same is going for Jay; he is still good but there is not as much to "feed" him.

It has been a frustrating year.
He plays and skates hard.
The goals will come.

I think he answered the bell.
Great weekend Jay.
You too, Patrick.
