The metro play-offs are setting up like this (not official but these are the standings to the best of my knowledge):

#1 RAVE vs #12 Eden Prairie
#6 Burnsville vs #7 Wessy's Boys

#2 Edina vs #11 Wayzata
#5 White Bear-Black vs # 8 Osseo/Maple Grove

#3 White Bear-Orange vs #10 Elk River
#4 Roseville vs #9 Buffalo

sweet bring it on...playoffs are the best part of the season because everything is on edge

ya these are the matchups. theres only one game left and thats wessys vs forest lake. it has no meaning cause no matter what the outcome wessys will still be 7th and forest lake will not participate in playoffs

- i think osseo and elk river might be able to beat the wbl's.

This Friday (2/29) at St. Paul Highland

its gunna be intense. come to the wessys vs. burnsville game theres gunna be a good crowd. darby hendrickson will be attending the game because he is a good family friend of ours so he will be there to watch it. and it will be a close match cause we're the 7 and 6 seeds

thats how metro hockey league had it listed as of today and there are no more regular season games left so i assume that is final. i would like to know the site to find the bracet with names in it, i just used one with the seed #'s on it.

Good, they updated it with teams. I was checking last night and they just had the seeds.

The standings page doesn't take into consideration the tiebreakers. That is why you see Buffalo ahead of OMG on the site, but since the first tiebreaker is H2H, Osseo gets the #8 seed.

#5 White Bear-Black vs # 8 Osseo/Maple Grove (WBL-B won 4-2 in Jan)

#3 White Bear-Orange vs #10 Elk River (Teams tied 1-1 earlier in the month)
#4 Roseville vs #9 Buffalo (Teams tied 3-3 earlier this month)


Anyone can beat anyone (especially in the playoffs) but as you can see most of these teams have played each other fairly close so it should be a good weekend.

This will be a great game. The RAVE has been a solid team throughout the season and the Wessy's have gained a lot of momentum along the way. Both teams have quality players that play with a lot of heart. I like the fact that both teams have a lot of respect for each other. And that's the way this game should be played.

Rave and Wessys already played at 1040 and the Edina game is starting rite now in Highland

burnsville kind of got screwed by the refs against wessys boys yesterday. What happend on the goal scored by Burnsville#5 why did that get waved off

It was 5 1 there koho get over it bville didnt lose bc of the reffing.
