Swap the time frames on the Roseau & BSM games and I'm all for it. Would rather see the two best teams in the tourney in prime time.

Who wouldnt love to see Woodbury vs. Hill in the first round? Arent a lot of the Hill kids from Woodbury?
However.....
Am I the only one that thinks Woodbury deserves a top 4 seed? They won the SEC and just steam rolled 3 teams from the big bad Lake Conference by a combined 23-5 in sections.

True that Woodbury did some good things but it comes down to the complete season as seedings are produced. Records really come into play at this point as well as teams beat on the schedule. Roseau (28-0) and Edina (26-2) are locks for #1 and #2, respectively. H-M (24-3-1) and Benilde (25-3) are likely to be #3 and #4, respectively.

No doubt on the first 3. I didn't realize Benilde only had 3 losses, I still would like to see Woodbury get the #4 though.
Any idea how many of the Hill kids are from Woodbury? Not trying to start the whole private/public thing just wondering how much of a rivalry atmosphere it would create if they met on thursday

Unsure of the exact number but I could name approximately a quarter of the team as residents of Woodbury. Either way I think it would be a fantastic opener in the state tournament.

benilde is def gonna get a top 4 seed.... they just won the toughest section in the state and they are a very good team and they have proven it by beating edina in the schwans tournament earlier this year and beating EP and tonka in their section (just to name a few).

Just to put this out there i think benilde should be rated higher than edina for one reason they beat Edina shattuck and Tonka and the came through the hardest section in state.

You mean have
1. Roseau
2. Benilde
3. Edina
4. Hill
?
i could see this i guess
but i would rather see
1. Roseau
2. Edina
3. Hill
4. Benilde
so we do not see any rematches until possibly the championship

Roseau and Edina 1 and 2, obviously. Then I would probably put Benilde at 3rd and a toss up between hill and woodbury for 4th, when do the offical rankings come out

Yeah if they don't give Roseau N0# 1 something is wrong, then it is all politics, Edina should get 2nd and I believe Benelde third. Hill is a shoe for 4th.Then form there we will see. But a team that hasn't been beaten should get no#1

Why is Edina the obvious #2? Benilde beat Edina and it was no fluke.
