STA goalie will not shut out the Flyers. If STA wins it will not be by shut-out or that big of margin

LF needs to put shots and pressure on the STA goalie to win this game. I have not seen LF this year and know that STA was put into running time by Duluth Marshall, so they can be beat. But, I'm guessing STA will win by a goal.

i have seen both teams play a couple of times this year, probably one of the few that could say this about both teams.
i think sta will win 6 or 7-2 LF keeps getting the bad draw at the X

As an LF alum, I would love to see the Flyers pull this one off. I haven't seen Little Falls play this year but I have seen St. Thomas and LF got a tough draw.
I know Little Falls supporters are deservedly proud of their team and will provide great support on Wednesday but I hope they're realistic about their chances in this game. STA would have had a shot at making the AA tournament this year and they have to be a heavy favorite Wednesday night. The Flyers gave Hermantown a tough game last year, they'll have to do the same this year to have a chance. I'll be at the game, biting my nails and hoping for the upset.

I see some people still have the purple and yellow glasses on.
Little Falls doesn't have a team on their schedule that is close to the caliber of St. Thomas, and it will show in this one. I'd love to see them pull it out but I don't think it's going to happen.

If Little Falls can play hockey with some diversity they can win this game and make some moves at state......

Well for all the faithful flyers fans you got beat the best to be the best. but sorry they will probably get throttled pretty well. They are a good team but just to top heavy. The top lines are gonna be equal but after that st thomas will take control.
STA: 5
Falls: 1

If the Flyers still had Festler they would maybe have a chance, STA has just too much depth.
6-2 STA

Seed them all or seed none of them?????
We whent 50 years with no seeding and it was all fine, far as I'm concerned the seeds are dumb anyway. The reason we went to seeding is because two so called "top" teams would face each other in the first round with the loser of the game crying foul...."this is a shame, it should have been the championship"....bull,...IF a given team couldn't beat the other one in the first round, what makes them think it would be any different in the championship?????
Little Falls should be able to do something against St. Thomas Academy, if they can't, then they weren't good enough...bottom line...

Tough break for the Flyers. Sperl will have to have the game of his life in this one. I do not think the Flyers depth will be able to match that of STA. Even though I would like to see the Flyers win this one it will be a huge hurdle for their first game. Never know what can happen with a hot goalie............
Flyers 4

Your entire post talks about how the Flyers are very over matched and then you pick them to win.
Interesting.

Can you please define playing hockey with diversity for the rest of us?
diversity

Diversity would mean playing in a game that NO ONE expects you to win. Also: Playing a team that is going to shut down what your gravy has been all year so you have to DIVERSIFY what you do............what other reasons do you have for the high flying Little Falls teams doing so horrible at State????????
