I think both Cloquet and Blaine squeak out OT thrillers, setting up one of the most anticipated consolation finals in MN history. :)

Woodbury-BSM is the closest matchup so therefore the most prone for an upset, but Lakeville South is a big threat for an upset against Hill as well.

i would pick blaine cause they only lost to roseau 1-0 earlier in the year and they are coming off a huge 6-1 win over centennial

i think Blaine can pull off the upset and defeat the defending state champs

"anything" can happen - but if you're basing this on the result of the frigid, ridiculous game on the Baudette Bay - that means nothing for either team.

benilde wont lose in the first round

im lookin for blaine to beat roseau that seems to be the most evenly matched game (1-0 roseau win)

I don't think any upsets will happen in the first round but the most likely in my opinion would be Woodbury, they would probably be the #5 seed if all 8 were seeded.. Lakeville theres not really a chance, Blaine is playing Roseau, and Cloquet I'm not completely sure about

Also wasn't the Blaine vs Roseau game played outdoors on hockey day Minnesota? Although thats not an excuse for either team, I'm just saying it's going to be a completely different game.

I really doubt we'll see much out of Cloquet.. Team David Brown has run it's luck about as far as it c an go I think
