For each game one student section is in the 200 level and one student section is in the 100 level. How do they determine which goes where?

its really a matter of students not going upstairs. The tickets the students get are for the 200 level but the X usually will let the students take up a section for their game then they have to move out. Some schools will force their students up stairs

It also depends on the number of students. Big schools usually bring a ton of students, so there ususally isn't enough room for all the students to sit together in the lower deck so they choose to sit together and move up.

Actually you have assigned seats, unless you are in the kids tourney IE St. Thomas....For AA the seats are all assigned and the people at the X are real good about NOT letting kids just sit where ever they want. Usually some kids will try and sit in the lower level when they have upper level seats and when they get caught cry and complain and call the ushers names....Sit where you are assigned and stop the trouble before it starts. I am not trying to be an A$$, but I have had people in my seats and when they are asked to leave they complain and cry....

forgive me because I've only been to the X for Wild games, but how many people ususally show up for the High School tournament? Way it sounds, quite a few which is awesome.

the X told our school that its fine that kids sit wherever they want within their student section as long as they move if they're asked to by the actual ticket holder....so i'd actually say they're rather understanding.

at EHS they JUST did this today, it sucks terribley. they got sr's in the gym, randomly chose rows and 1st rows got lower level, and the last rows got upper deck BUT becuase edina had 1000 tix and have 600 to boosters and only 400 to kids... (WHAT?!?!) the kids are scattered throughout like 3 sections lower and upper. it sucks so much.

EHS, at least your kids are in the lower section. The Hill students are once again way up top. Lets all just be happy we have tickets and that our teams are in the big show!

woodbury had 2200 tickets total. 1000 for students and 1200 for community (a lot of which were 9th graders). completely sold out all 2200 in an hour and half
