Leivermann and Litchfield, now is their chance to show that they can play with the best.

I'm curious to see Hakan Yumusaklar. I haven't seen Lakeville South this season, and a lot of people on the bored seem pretty excited about the kid. I'd like to see what the big deal is.

For the Edina games:

* their top line - so big, so skilled
* Joe Gleason - I could just watch this kid skate and not even follow the puck
* Baker - steady play, may not make a mistake in a whole game

Others I want to see:

* Eddy
* South's goalie (he'll be noticed!)
* Student

Goff, Pittman, Hyland for Woodbury. David Eddy and the Royals will need these guys at their best for Woodbury to make a run.

Some that I am personally excited to see...

Class A

Ryan Walters - STA
Landon Olson and Dano Jaques- Duluth Marshall
Josh Birkholz - Blake
Nate Schmidt and Steve Rindelaub - SCC
Ben Hanowski - Little Falls
Ricky Litchfield and Cory Leiverman - Mankato West
Bryce Ravendalen - Warroad

Class AA

Mike Lee and Aaron Ness - Roseau
Zach Budish, Anders Lee, and Joe Gleason - Edina
Chris Student and Jacob Meyers - BSM
Hakan Yumusakler - L'ville South
David Eddy - Woodbury
Justin Jokinen and David Brown - Cloquet

The person who I want to see most in the AA tourney (well, maybe 2nd after Ness) may be nothing more than a 3rd/4th line player for Hill-Murray. I want to see Monte French for the first time since he traded in his Crusaders sweater for the Hill sweater.

Georgie - What did Hill and Lechner offer Frenchy to trade allegiances?

All I know is that the dad got a job and the family moved. Had nothing to do with hockey is all I know.

This just in - it has been reported that French's Dad is now the Zamboni driver for Hill - Murray and his Mother was contracted to run the Pioneer web site.

That'd be a lot of trouble to go through to get a 3rd liner.

Don't forget Rooney (#18 ), Saintey (#21), and Isaackson (#14). STA is pretty deep and has some fun guys to watch. Rooney is fast. Saintey and Isaackson have some ridiculous hands.

Landman.

He may not be on everyone's "star" list, but I would think by the end of the tournament he will be on everyone's "favorite player" list!
