Who would win?

I had heard that Jefferson has something like 11 D1 players on their team
Roseau isn't undefeated this year YET, but seem to be as dominating as their rivals for this topic.

Shouldn't that be the '08 Rams you're comparing to that Jags team?

I hate to say it but I would say Jefferson, that team was amazing to watch. I would say it would be a great game though.

That Jefferson team was legendary.

The more pressing question is who would win if the '08 Rams and '08 Hornets played.

Jags

I realize we are talking overall season or guesses on the future, possibly..........but considering the current season & game - the Jags lost to Roseau 4-3 (and not one of their best games) this season.

I guess - alot of talent all over this state.

No team I've ever seen compares to the 93 Jaguars however this Roseau 08 team is pretty impressive.

Bloomington had more D1 players but the real question is: Has the quality of MN high school hockey (depth, skills, size, etc.) improved that much since then? Most are now playing 10-12 months a year and EVERYONE is getting better. On the other hand, a good number of the top players today are playing juniors or in Ann Arbor...

lets take this one stride at a time.....

the rams first have to get passed 08' Edina

Secondly, I would bet that the 09' hornets would be a more appropriate comparison (although still not close)

for those of you who remember the 93' jags, they were, and will probably remain the best team ever. They were the perfect storm, 10 players D1 (not sure about exact number bout around 5 pro) including the goalie who also went pro (toronto I believe?). Because of the way the system is set up these days the odds of a team rivaling the 93' jags is nearly slim to nilch.

However, the Rams are awesome and I wish them the best of luck this season

Jefferson was by far the deeper team. The only edge for Roseau in a fictional matchup like that would be in goal, otherwise, BJ would've most likely dominated them. Would've been a great game to watch though.

no way you could match up nets, Jefferson's tender Heil was a top notch NHL goalie, the biggest blowout comparison would be in net.
(however I dont want to take away from the impressive accomplishments of Lee)

Heil never played an NHL game. Check your sources.

if now
07 RAMS by a bunch.
because the 93 Jags are old and out of shape now.

if in 93.
the Jags by a land slide
because the 07 Rams would have been 4?

How can you compare? the game has changed a bunch in 14 years.
