Saint Paul Saints- lost their 3 year starter and captian goalie. and their backup. did have a junior goalie but he quit cause they kept the other senior goalie this past season. Now all they got is a bad JV goalie who'll be a junior next year.
maybe a few bantams next year but nothing is for certain

Hibbing lost all three senior goalies, which accounted for the varsity and JV. I believe that they have one Bantam moving up for sure, possibly two. Maybe some kids will come out of retirement to play some JV games.

That's what everybody was saying on here at the end of the '06-'07 season and Wigen proved them wrong.

I hope I am proven wrong, but I don't think that Ness and Moore will be up to the task next year...those were the jv goalies correct??

Your are correct, Ness is the better of the 2. Has some big weaknesses but shows good potential and moves well. Give him a good coach and a year of varsity experience and he can be every bit as good , if not better, than both Wigen and Foley (from last year).

And backup Girouard. We have a Junior going to be Senior and a Sophomore going to be Junior next year. They are about equal but not crazy good like "flip".

Orono's losing Wilson!!

but they still got GABOS!!

If Orono gets a strong goaltender next season, they'll compete for the state tournament \\ state title.
Gabos is not a strong goaltender and the back up (?) didn't see any playing time. Any strong goaltender that moves into Orono will have a legitimate opportunity to play.
