BOYCOT SUPER AMERICA GAS STATIONS

If you really think about, Super America is the first station to always raise their gas prices.
If everybody would just stop purchasing their gas at SA, perhaps they would get the message - if they weren't forced to close first for lack of business at the pumps.
Personally, I haven't bought gas at Super America in over six years because of the way they mess with us.

All depends where the needle on the gauge is when I need gas (urgent demand) Typically I only buy from Holiday since they are based in MN. I use to go out of the way to buy Amoco (formerly Standard ) since grandpa and dad both owned Standard service stations. Stopped immediately when BP bought them.

Kind of hard for me to boycot them when I get discount gas cards from them.

I don't think these "dont buy gas next Tuesday" or boycott a particular station type activities make any difference. It used to be that a summons to capital hill and the threat of a congressional investigation into price fixing would do the trick. That doesnt even seem to have an impact anymore. They always have an excuse which sometimes is supply based and other times demand based. They blame whatever they need to in order to ensure the continuation of record profits. It's a racket. Buy stock or an oil well.

Good luck with your war against big business. I'm with you in spirit.
Unfortunately, big business has me by the hoo hahs and I frequent them all, a lot.

anyone want my diesel? ouch. it costs 175$ to fill the tank fully. how are truckers doing it? I will not go to SA when there is a holiday in sight, but I know better than to skip a station with diesel pumps, especially in an unfamiliar neighborhood, I may not find another one in time.

A while back SA station in Warroad was discovered to have a
weeee bit too much water in it's gas (or was it gas in it's water?). I don't remember if the place ever reopened as an SA, but shortly after that it became a Holiday. Now there are two holiday's with in a half mile of each other, on the same road, in a town of 1700...make sense??? anyway, haven't bought SA gas since that stuff went down...come to think of it, not sure if i ever did before that though. Cenex all the way

always better to compete against yourself if the market has not reached a point of saturation. (surely we have enough coffee shops now right?

I wish there were more in my neighborhood. We had to buy a t-shirt from the one in Robbinsdale. Now I just need to get a Kum 'n Go shirt...

A perfect example of why Super America needs to be boycotted.

As long as you skip the gas.
