i believe they should be alright..possibly a state berth. Correct me if i am wrong but i think in bantams this team lost to duluth east in like the 3rd ot to go to state..add to that a few new freshman they should be a descent team..

Probably not. They'll be a two man show with Vechell and Jamnick. After those two, they're just average. Don't expect the coaching staff to get much out of that bunch. Just another average Class A team in an average Class A section.

It would be nice to see Hibbing/Chisholm step up with the big boys, so we don't have to see anymore suburban teams in section 7!

I agree they will be a two man show but I think that Jamnick deserves more than being recognized just as an alright player. He's good with the puck, he can skate, score, and plays very hard.

That's what they said about the Walters brothers...they seemed to do all right.

I believe one of the brother is playing at Bemidji State next year. Shea?

I'm in agreement on Jamnick. Top end player who was and remains Hibbing's best player. Quality kid also. He'll have to carry them.

DeCenzo for sure, I believe their starting goalie as well. Either way, they didn't have a lot to begin with. At least with Vechell healthy, Jamnick will have someone to play with.

Agree they'll show up for sections, but disagree on their coaching staff. The brothers over there aren't great coaches.

I agree that Hibbing will show up for sections, just like they showed up this year for sections, it should be an interesting season.

Virginia will probably be your 7A champ and will make a solid run at the IRC. Good young, talented players who can put the puck in the net. As Bantams, they gave some very good teams fits and after a year on the varsity, they'll be a little more experienced then most of the teams on the range. And if they're not more experienced, they'll probably be a little more talented.

The thing that concerns me most about hibbing is there offensive production next year. Yes Jamnick and Hanegmon will be big offensive threats, but i don't no if that will be enough. Another thing is that they'll have a sophmore in net.
