So, it will be exciting to hear how the 15's camp in Mankato went. We are hoping that EVERYONE has a shot at N.Y.. The rumor is that the girls going to N.Y. are already picked. Personally, I do not believe that. Any idea's or comments on this?

I bet the coaches have a good idea as to who should make it after the 1st couple of days. They will be sadly mistaken if they rely on the Blaine Festival's rankings since I heard they didn't watch all 3 days evaluations and when they did watch they only used a few shifts to determine a score. I am sure the last 5 or 6 players will be very tough to pick. Coach Viznor runs a great camp and I am sure they will give every player a good look. Either way it seems as if the players will get some very good instruction and from other posts on this board it seems as if the mankato camp is just as good as the national camp.
does anyone know when they will find out who makes it?

I believe the camp comes to a close tomorrow & they will find out at that time. How many years has this camp been going on?

I believe this is the 4th Camp - the first class of players just graduated from HS.
This is the first time the camp has been used to select the MN U15 NDP players. The past camps were seperate from NDP and what was happening was an increasing number of U15 kids selected to NDP in the spring were skipping this camp.

I believe Hanmer is a 16 and no she did not participate due to injury.

Hanmer is a '92 or U16 and was not able to do the Phase tryouts due to injury. Does anyone know how her arm is healing and did she get an at large to go to Rochester?

And speaking of '92's and injuries, does anyone know how the recovery process for Kristi King of Stillwater is coming, and whether or not she was able to participate?

She was cleared early in June and is training in CODP.
I understand that Kristi King, Corinne Henning (Minnesota District) and Megan Cox (Central District) each recieved At Large Invitations to '92 U16 Rochester, NY, NDP.
