According to the Minnesota Hockey Site, the Southern Regional will be Districts 1, 4, and 5.

Predictions:

District 1
Minneapolis Park
Highland Central
Irondale or Johnson

District 4 (Only get two seeds)
New Ulm
Faribault

District 5
Buffalo
Crow River
Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake

This is going to be a very light region this year at the Peewee and Bantam levels. New Ulm, Faribault, Minneapolis Park, Highland Central, and Buffalo will be the teams fighting for a state tourney berth.

The new Washburn/Richfield "co-op" could impact District 1.

I think it could look like this:

1) Mpls Park
2) Irondale
3) Washburn/Richfield.

I think Park will be the class of District 1 with Irondale, Washburn/Richfield, and Highland battling it out for the last two spots.
