My yellow lab had 6 puppies early this morning.

4 yellow and 2 black.

Not sure of the sex of the puppies yet, and have not chosen names.
She is registered at PetMart, so please buy something nice for her and her babies.

Height - short
weight - light

Grandpa Mark could use a new skill saw and corded drill.

Pictures to follow.

Saw...$100

A guy using a saw with a depth perception problem....priceless.

Disappointed to learn to did not neuter the dog, officer. Hope you've got quality candidates to adopt the pups to - maybe you can call Barack, I hear he's looking for one.

Dog will be 'fixed' now.

People wanted some - four are gone already, and we will keep one.

The little black one may end up with us, too. But someone is always looking for a good lab. Grandpa (the dog, not me) has won some awards locally/statewide.

President-elect Obama will be pretty busy, but with a couple of kids running around that big house, maybe they will wnat one (assuming they don't have one already - where is the press when you need to know the important things).

Thanks for the present guys, just FedEx it to me.

And someone will have to give me instructions.

At least it will match my toes.

If anyone is interested I also have a black lab that I am willing to give away to a good home. Shots are up to date and she is fixed. I will even throw in a retractable leash. She is a little over a year old.

There has to be a good story behind this one

I thought you ran out of bait while ice -fishing and that one looked a little black to begin with and it snapped right off.

She is good with other dogs. I have two other dogs which is part of the reason I want to let her go. She was abandend and wound up at my house about 10 months ago. My kids fell in love with her (puppy syndrome) now that she isn't as small they don't spend any time with her. I can't give her the attention she deserves having the other two. (no jokes please) She knows her name (Sammi) She will sit, lay down and shake on command. She would be a good dog for a bird hunter if they had a little time to work with her.

Even when she gets a snootful of bird scent?

I applaud your efforts to find her a good home. IMHO there is no better pet than a lab. Great with kids, and will give unconditional love for a scratch behind the ear every once in a while. Why can't wives be like that...

I have a pointer, and they don't hunt very well with flushers. But a lab is a great grouse dog, they stay close and track cripples very well.

Good Luck!
