White Bear has a lot of talent, but their goaltending is definitely questionable.

Funny I am hearing all this stuff about how good EP is going to be and they are already pegging themselves to win state and then at the scheduling meeting 2 teams dropped out so each team had to find 2 games to fill and EP was trying to avoid playing Wayzata(who is usually very good at this level) at all costs, and they got there way. Not sure why they would be all talk and then back down from a challenge.

Well that is what my coach told me, but indeed we will see.

What about Watertown, SD? What kind of team will they have this year? I would not look past the Lakers.

Is this Watertown of South Dakota? Because they don't have a Junior Gold A team but it's not uncommon for a JV or Varsity team travel to MN to play JGA teams because of the competition difference.

South Dakota does not have high school sanctioned varsity or jv hockey. For out of state games the high school aged teams are rostered as Jr. Gold A or B. Watertown should be a good test for Jr. Gold A teams in Minnesota. They have beaten teams from Winnipeg, Grand Forks and Fargo this season. They should be in the upper half of Jr Gold A team from South Dakota this season, similar to Sioux Falls and Brookings.

Sounds like they did their talking on the ice tonight against Bville. EP was up 8-1 after two periods, with running time the entire 3rd...Didn't Bville beat Wayzata???

The MTKA tourney is always a good one. It doesn't suprise me in the least that EP was trying to avoid playing Wayzata. EP vs Wayzata Friday night? I'll take Wayzata....

I don't think you quite understand bulldoggs.... EP beat Bville 8-1(in 2 periods may I add) and Bville beat Wayzata 4-3. Im guessing it won't be even a semi-competitive game

Beating Burnsville 8-1 does not impress me that much, but a win is a win. Burnsville clearly has a weak team this year, I mean look at there varsity. That is a pretty good indication of how they will be.

How good is this jepsen kid?
