First match up of season. Bemidji 8A (2-0-0), Moorhead 8AA (1-0-1). Bemidji needs to start clicking to be successful in this one...

Bemidji cant handle Moorhead...they just aren't at that level...i would have to say Moorhead wins by at least 3

I have seen Bemidji play once and that was the last game in Monticello, they played good hockey in the 1st period but a little sloppy in the 2nd and 3rd. Puck movement was key to scoring in the first period, Although they could use a little less dumping the puck and create 3 on 2s. Goalie needs to move quicker after the first rebound.

I don't know anything about Moorhead but probably nothing like 2003-2005 seasons. I think Moorhead will win this one by two.

I'm basing my opinion on what I have seen and heard of Moorhead compared with what I have heard about Bemidji. If I am wrong, I will eat my words but I don't think Bemidji is at that level yet.

Moorhead by at least 3. Judging from previous MHD-Bemidji games.

Have to believe that Moorhead has the upper hand in this one. They have for the past few (many) years. However, Moorhead seems to be slipping and Bemidji is on the rise. Look for Moorhead to win this one by at least a 4 goal margin. Prediction Moorhead 6 Bemidji 2 Goals for Moorhead from Altenberg (2), Johnson (1), Buckellew (1), Rahmen (2). Bemidji, I don't really know but I would look for the goals on a 1st line 3rd line mismatch.

I'll be there Thursday night and try to give a little rundown when I get home...and of course, post some photos...

dont mean to be picky but it's Altenbernd and Rahman. Just thought I would clear that up for future reference

The junior/sophomore (& freshman) class that were Bantams two years ago sent the Moorhead boys home at regions. That same group sent the Roseau boys home at VFW districts. There is potential there...

looks like this Moorhead team is better than people have been anticipating. Nice to see a freshman goalie getting a decent amount of shots and doing good. Nice Job Bitzer!
