District 8 will send 3 teams

Here is how it will work for the 2008-2009 season

Districts 11, 4, 6, 3 will all send 2 teams

All other districts will send 3 teams

This is for all Bantams and PeeWee teams

honestly, what's the purpose of sending 3 teams?????? typically moving on means you have accomplished something, and getting 3rd place in a conventional 8 team bracket isn't exactly that great. In fact in that style of tournement the consolation team has done just as much as the 3rd place winner......

I will predict that the winner of the south region will get throttled in the state tournament. Two touchdowns to goose eggs.

Yep Fred I think your right, MAHA has stuck by its guns for years when it comes to representation at the state tourney. I recall the peewee A tourney several years ago when Sartell had to play Edina and Duluth East...it wasn't pretty. I doubt this mentality will ever change, often the best games are played at the regioinal level.

Ok, I will agree with you. That goal differential will be between a field goal and a touchdown (pluss the conversion/extra point).
