Blaine beat Grand Forks Central 3-1 in the Herald Jason Stadstad Hockey Classic on Saturday.

Travis Kovalchuk, Gavin Tufte scored goals for Blaine in the first period and Nick Bjugstad added an empty-netter.

Jordy Aamot scored for Central.
