No. I think the rankers are overwhelmed. There are so many more bantam B teams then bantam A treams. Maybe as the season wears on these rankings will make more sense.
Is it true that DE did not win a game yet in their tourney this weekend? Tough bracket?

No, that's not true. DE was 2-1 in their bracket this weekend, losing only to Eagan Green.

How do the rankings get made. Because I've seen some games at tourneys or just district where an un ranked team beats a ranked team and they dont get ranked.

How many B teams do each of these cities have? If the top 15 players are on the A team are the next 15 on one team or do they split them up equally when they have more than one B team? Just wondering.

Move Bville and Minnetonka down several spots and the rankings will be pretty close. The Bloomington tourney didn't have strong teams (B2 and B1 - with upsets). Curious to see how this week will look... I doubt the Minnetonka faithful will change them that much.

D6 teams except Edina all have one B1 team; Eagan has two B1 teams- I believe they are equally drafted. Wayzata has three B1 teams - one (blue) being players 16-30; the other two (Gold and Navy) are drafted equally from players 31-60. Lakeville S and Lakeville N each have one B1 team.

12/31 rankings:
Get Burnsville and Minnetonka out of the top 5 and it has more credibility...
1 Wayzata Blue - deserving
2 Burnsville - just won a weak tourney w/ B2 and no top 10 teams
3 Edina Green - deserving of #2, only loss to Wayzata Blue
4 OMG - only losses to Wayzata Blue and Edina Green
5 Minnetonka 12-8-4 not winning to teams ranked under them at the time
6 Duluth East - proven top 5 on the ice and scoreboard
7 Wayzata Gold - solid #5 team over Bville and Tonka
8 Moorhead - Compare with Morris/Benson also in in Dist 15 West
9 Stillwater - Haven't seen scores or W-L-T
10 Eagan Blue - Tough, but comes up just short against strong teams
11 Bloomington Jefferson - Inconsistent, 7th in district 6
12 Lakeville South - Can't beat AV
13 Apple Valley - Inconsistent, just lost to OMG B2 team in Bloom tourney
14 Sauk Rapids - Interesting team. No A team, no losses, competition?
15 Edina White - Some up-side potential... beat Minnetonka last night?
16 Eden Prairie - Can play big games (at times)
17 White Bear Orange - 8-7-4?
18 Centennial Red - No better than Coon Rapids, Blaine or Elk River
19 Tartan - Could be higher than many teams listed above
20 Forest Lake - Too many others deserve to be here
Hey LPH rankers, getting enough clues yet?

I agree with 1,2,3,4
But strange AV beats Jefferson easily twice ( 3-1 shots )
and beats Lakeville South twice ( 3-1 shots )
and they are ranked below them ?
jfyi> when they lost to OMG b2 - the shots were 44-9
of the 9 shots 4 were icing's on net.
and OMG scored on 2 breakaways,
it was strange to watch - omg kept all 5 in front of the net and iced it.
Burnsville is strong and physical - whomever thinks they don't deserve
top 5 probably hasn't seen them play ?
AV outshot Edina Green in a 3-3 tie - not quite sure how Edina Green
wins all those games - but that's a sign of a good team certainly....
OMG seemed huge and fast and filled with somewhat angry players....
both Eagan teams play solid dump and chase
haven't seen Wayzata Blue play - look forward to that....

Eagan Green is a good team but didn't put away Chaska (tie) this week. Even so they should probably be ranked.

Great... Can we re-rank everyone based on shots on goal? I beleive end result is the current criteria.

certainly shots on goal is just a statistic....
but it might indicate who controlled the play,
assuming of course one team doesn't have a ton of
missed shots that were good scoring opportunities...
but if you wish to only speculate 'team' rankings
based on scores and records
you certainly may do so....
I myself like to see/hear all the information....

You cannot use shots on goal as a reference for who is the best team. The other day I watched a game where one team had about 8 shots on goal and the other team had 2, midway through the first period. The 8 shots were all from the perimeter and not very strong chances for goals. Meanwhile, the team with 2 had been in control of the puck most of the game, but they were trying to free up the slot and back door, instead of throwing low percentage shots at the net.
If results are not important to figure out the best team, perhaps we should start keeping track of offensive zone possession or save percentage for goalies. If your goalie can't stop a beach ball, you can dominate games and still lose. Rankings are about figuring out, what TEAM is the best team. One bad goalie will kill a team, where as, 1 bad forward can be hidden. So yes, shots and control are important in rankings, but the end result is how the team performed.
