Why are they so bad!!! They use to be one of the best teams in the ushl. Seem to have good coaches. What's missing???
Short answer: New owners that are "hands on" with kids on the team that don't belong... But that's not really it because they were bad before that... Here's a hint for you... The Head and Assistant Coach for the Sioux City Musketeers were the coaches for 1 1/2 years before at DM, and they were the recruiting masterminds for about 3 years there as well. Look at how Sioux City is doing.
So, you have some bad recruiting/coaching for a couple of years that brought them down, then new owners that tell a great new coach how to play certain kids, and you have a recipe for a few years in the cellar.
