The Rochester goalie is probably tops right now but the Apple Valley's goalie is very good, also.

What about beapure from edina use to hear so much about him how is he doing now? Patrick Flaherty from GR big quick and has the ability to come back after letting in a goal which is hard for most to do at this age.

The Goalie From Marshall Is Good!

Isaac Melin of Wayzata. He is very good.

Hopkins goalie is really good.

Starting High School goalie from St. Peter's is a freshman and is a VERY talented goaltender. I know this post was concerning Bantams but wanted to include since this young man is a freshman.

Chris Amsded. I know him presonally, actuualy going to play on one of his teams in these upcoming weeks. I think hes an 8th grader too

Matt Beuhonek ( I think that last name is right) from Minnetonka is a great netminder. He has insured that tonka is a top teir team every year.
First year pewees=2nd in state B1
Second year pewee= regions A
Frist year bantam=3rd B1
Second year bantam= ranked high
No matter how good of a team the goalie has to be good for them to go someplace

My vote goes to Griffin Wangen of Albert Lea. He is a 94 and leading his District 4 team to regionals. Amsden of St. Pete is good also and also a 94, seems to be struggling a bit this year but has a ton of natural talent. I would also mention the Marshall goalie Brandon Wildung who is a 93. Pretty solid does a good job of keeping Marshall competitive. The Beaupre kid is a 94 not bad but I would take any of the three guys mentioned above over him.

John Dugas is a 95 goaltender from the Wisconsin Fire, very consistent and has put up some very impressive stats and wins this year.

Patrick Munson, 95 goaltender from White Bear is a very flexible and quick goaltender, very good as well.

Rochester goalie, who's name I don't know is also skilled.

If Fire goalies count then I would say Brandon Evers very solid 95 and Brock and the tartan goalie would have to be the two other best i have seen.

Anders Franke (94) is the starting Varsity goalie for Elk River all year.

I'm not able to find the stats that Chaos is referring to...nor is there a current roster to admire. My guess, Mr. Chaos is diligently trying to self promote his son. I've watched both Fire Goalies this year... the #1 Fire Goalie is very good. However, the #2 Fire Goalie is average. I would doubt that the #2 Fire Goalie could play Bantam A in MN...most likely, he would be a solid Bantam B1 goalie. Maybe with a little diet control... he could be a #2 Bantam A Goalie.

The Rochester Red goalie is a stand out.

Dugas is a great kid and a solid goalie. Evers has had the great fortune to play on some high caliber teams the last couple of years (Fire, Machine), where those teams have great offensive power and solid defense. Give me a goalie that can "steal" a game for your team, where you are completely outmatched, outshot and outplayed.

Hate to burst your bubble, but your guess is wrong. I am the father of no children. Dugas is not my kid. I would appreciate if you keep uneducated guesses to yourself, considering they lessen your own credibility. Promoting the skill of a player means nothing in terms of parentage. As far as stats go, it doesn't take too much effort to look at W/L record, shutout record, or GAA / GA list and put together some numbers. I merely put the effort into figuring them out, and yes, they are impressive. I too, like yourself, have seen both fire goalies play, so I am not uneducated when it comes to analyzing the skill of the two. And I would agree with your assessment of the two Fire goalies.

The two 95 Fire goalies are Evers and Dugas. I assumed Evers was the number one goalie and started 80% of the games. Dugas more of a practice goalie and backup. Neither is likely in the top 10 of Bantam A goalies but that's another discussion. Both are chunky, that I know.

The Fire have played 47 games this year. Dugas has played more games than Evers, although the split is very close to around 50 / 50. Dugas I believe has played 25 games, Evers 22. The number one fire goalie for the 95's would be Dugas, in my humble opinion. He appears to be the more in shape, quicker, sharper and technique focused than Evers, however do not count Evers out as a backup. Like I said, the split is close to 50/50, Evers is a very solid goaltender and stops the puck very well, but I think Dugas is the stronger of the two. As far as chunky, I wouldn't say Dugas is chunky, but he has a stocky sort of build. Evers is the larger of the two.

Just my take on the 95 Fire goaltending situation. Both goalies have potential.
