Their first meeting on the 12th of December went to Little Falls 4-3. Little Falls wins, they take the conference and the section. Alex wins, both are wide open.
Both took Cathedral to OT, Little Falls victorious, Alex not.

I would love to see Alex pull this one off!! But then, it is very hard to beat a team 3 times SOOOO, maybe I do want Little Falls to win this one and then Alex win the important one. Either way this is going to be a GREAT game!! Wish I could be there!!
Final Call:
Alex 5
Little Falls 3

That's right, they play Willmar on the 20th.
But on the 22nd, I'm picking the flyers in a close one 5 EN - 3.

however Alexandria would have the momentum going into the rubber match if it should happen that way....I can't call this one.

With the exception of last year's section final, Alex has played LF tough. LF won in Alex last season 2 -1 on a weak goal. I didn't see the first match up this season but heard it was a good game with Alex a bit off their pace.
Thursday night should be a GREAT hockey game and I'm looking forward to being there. Alex will need Hemingway to be HOT and his defense to play well in front of him to get the W.

Little Falls is definitely going to have to bring their A-game. Little Falls
also needs to stay out of the box. The way this season is going that
might not be easy. There are a few kids on this team that can't seem to keep their emotions in check. I think Little Falls wins this one 4-3

Well with the way the last game went they seemed to like the box a little to much. Is it cold in Fergus and they have heaters in the box to warm up, because LF was spending way to much time there. We will see how they play tonight with the first match up against Willmar.

This game ends up 6-2 LF unless Alex Coaching figures it out. Take Ben out of the pitcure -- SHADOW-- can anyone handle that?????? Alex, play all three lines as equal as possible they have the depth but not the juice to go more than three!! Any line on Alex can find the Twine. Coaching mistakes on Alex last game cost them at least 2. Coutures slick, watch him slide Ben in at the right times even if he just came off!!! (3line 3lineD) Couture FLIPS on the refs if it a close game to get in their heads. (we're gettin a raw deal--makeup call) (every close game it happens). Expect Ben to draw a call, maybe two, on a dive -- great player not an actor.... well I guess it's worked, lets say ok actor. Alex coaches run a better bench I say you win game two 3-2 Section Final 3-2. Will be FUN games to watch!!

onemove, better teams have tried to shadow him, doesn't work. The rest of the team gets it done.

The goalie having a great game is the best bet to shut down Hanowski. Too bad you can't gameplan that.

Huh leave it up to your nets?? -- Slow the bleeding and you might live. One guy puts up what 50-60-70???% of LF points. Keep them within 2-3 goals and Alex has a chance, Alex has three lines that can find the back of the net -- not one.

Why do people think Little Falls is a lock if Alex cannot shut down Ben? Obviously Ben is going to be a force, as he is in every game, but when they played earlier in Little Falls, Alex took them to OT.

Stealth-what teams, and did they have the depth that the Alex team has? The plan is to slow that line AKA Ben to 2-3 goals let the rest of the team take care of finding the points. It doesn't work if you go head to head with your point scorers and LF's then you will be short. Unless you have (Alex) two other lines that make up and exceed what you gave up. (HUH I think I said that right)

You can shadow Ben all night, good luck! Don't forget about Bergland
{100th point last night} Nelson and Waytashek. This team has been getting stronger, they are a far better team then they were the last time
these two teams met. If Sperl is on Alex doesn't have a prayer.
Last night at the Willmar game Little Falls had only one penalty.
They need to play that style of hockey to win.

Didn't Ben just have 2 goals and
5 ASSISTS in a game?
