Greenway has improved vastly this season and their goaltender has been outstanding. As we all know they beat falls and barely lost to Virginia 3-2 while being mightly outshot in both. I can see Hibbing making a statement and pouring it on like in their first meeting. I don't see Greenway hanging around for long.

HIBBING gives the Raiders an old fashion whuppin !! Out play, out shoot, win all the battles [for-checking back-checking] sorry Greenway, Hibbing will cruise to an easy victory. Score: [after being out-shot terribly] Hibbing7 Raiders2 go blue jackets!!!!

I think giving Hibbing anything less than 7 is being nice. I think this will be a blow out, and quite a boring game. I don't expect Greenway to hang around like they did with Falls and Virginia.

Game has been Cancelled....apparently Greenway's whole team came down with some illness and they couldn't field a team for the game tonight.

They probably got sick because they knew that they would get their butts kicked. Dont they have a JV team over there?

Not exactly the same butt whooping that happened during the holiday tourney. I guess 1-0 last night might have been hanging around? SOG weren't close, but the only thing that does at the end of the night is the scoreboard. Give the Arnason kid some credit for keeping them close.

What an excellent judge of character you are! Especially for a first time poster. I heard their depth was already suffering with the sickness issues last weekend. Two quickQ's... Didn't grades come out at least two weeks back? And, what's your next ID going to be?

Antonovich had a meeting with the team about grades. Those that were doing well were dismissed from the meeting, the ones remaining were told the importance of grades. Anton is the first coach in a while that is emphasizing grades and enforcing consequences for those who don't perform in the classroom. Only one player is in trouble and he will not be missed because of his off ice behavior.

Since when do they cancel an event because of the flu bug. Many players played sick this year. I saw Aaron Jamnick play this year sick as a dog. Poor guy was puking at both ends. He couldn't start a shift, or end one, but he did play and had a great game. Thats the kind of stuff hockey players are made of.....

yah thats one player sick only (not trying to take away from the effort put forth, that takes a lot of heart) but if the whole team is sick there's no point in trying to put a team out there. Plus how many teams want to play against a bunch of sick kids.
