I do not think anyone can beat Breck as of right now. I say the seedings are as follows:
Breck
Mound
Orono
Rogers
Richfield
STMA
all others in any order

Don"t know much about Rogers and STMA to say yes or no to them. Orono and Mound have to play their best to have a chance. Don't think Richfield has the horses to stay with them.

We will have to wait till the end of the season, but after watching Richfield play the last couple of weeks I think they can give them a run. Watch out this week. Richfield has STA at home on Thursday and that will be tough. Then on Saturday they have Hill Murray. I am on a thin limb right now and think that if Richfield's goalie plays well, they can beat Hill. Hill is not playing well and Richfield is playing well above what most people gave them a chance at.
Watch this weekend.

While Breck is clearly the class of the section, any team can win a given game. As many have stated regarding Breck, they need to prove they can win the big game. Duluth East was an impressive Schwans Cup victory and they haven't lost since Wayzata back in December but they will have gone into Sections completley unchallenged for 3 weeks.
Orono, Mound and Richfeild may have a shot.

Zamm, I haven't seen much of Richfield this year, but didn't they lose all their ponies last year?
They have a shot, all be it, a long one at that!

STMA & Richfield hook up next weekend. That will tell a lot for the middle seedings.

If Richfield beats STMA in their last game of the season, could they get the #2 seed?
Breck is an interesting team because of their conference. It is tough to know who they really are. They have a win against East and a tie to Totino. Nothing aside from that tie would tell you they are no good, but not much aside from the East win would tell you they are that good. They have an easier conference schedule than Little Falls, but they take care of business with 6 GA in their last 10 games, including 5 shut outs in a row.
I guess we'll see.

I am guessing that Richfield will play exceptionaly well next Saturday. They do not want to lose on Senior night and unless they stay too high from their win against Hill, they should be able to pull out the win.
Breck better watch out, Richfield beat them a couple of years ago when Breck was number one.

I like one thru five with STMA number six ahead of Delano and Providence since they beat them both this year. Richfield should handle STMA this Saturday. Rogers is a good team which just beat STMA the other night in a good battle. It will be interesting to see who can step up and beat Breck.

Delano wont be in the top six with a losing record. Orono wont be seeded above Mound either.

How could Mound get the number 2 seed over Orono. the two teams split in the regular season and Orono finished ahead of Mound in the confrence standings?

Richfield recently beat Hill Murray as well as having a 2-0-1 record against section foes. They and Breck are the only undefeated teams (section games) in the section. STMA is the only one with 1 loss. If Richfield beats STMA, they should be the #2 seed.
Despite Richfield's record, their only loss not against a top team is NSP, who has been a contender against certain teams.
