This should be a great game with a packed house. Mayo's 7 game winning streak came to an end against albert lea last night but for good reason. They simply didn't come to play. This was a good eye opener for Mayo heading into sections. I think Mayo will play with a little more urgency tomorrow and get the win 4-2. North beating South last night was a twister for the coaches come section seedings this weekend. Mayo should definitely get the number one seed and South should get the 2. But now 3 and 4 (North-Century) should be interesting.

Looking forward to this game tomorrow night. Century has been scoring more goals as of late and Mayo's first line is always fun to watch. Which Graham Arena is the game at?

Although it's the third meeting, the first wasn't a conference game. If Century can manage a win, they will be 1-1 in conference match ups.
Regardless, Mayo has the conference won already. They split games with Albert Lea, both with the same score, but have less loses now and a win would give them more wins as well.

Nope, the first game was the Kiwanis game, and the second was a non conference game. The new rules make it so that there is only one "conference" game between the two teams per year. Tuesday's Mayo vs AL game was the conference game, the one on saturday was non conference. If Mayo wins, they share the conference title with AL...if Century wins, they have the conference title to themselves.

Mayo doesn't stand a chance in this one.
Century 6
Mayo 2
Century gets the title and #1 seed.

SEHockeyNut, Not quite sure how Century can get the #1 seed? If they beat Mayo, that really put a twist in everything. Mayo beat both North & South, North & South beat Century and now if Century beats Mayo they get the #1 seed? Tell me how that works? This section seedings is going to be tough. This is the way that I see it (only my opinion). Mayo, North, Century, South, Owatonna the the rest. Let's see your list.

I agree that Mayo will and should get the #1 seed regardless of the outcome of this game. Century getting beat by both lakeville schools dampers them. This game mabye has some bearing on Century's seed for the sections in regards to Lakeville North. However North beating South the other night definitely helps them. This should be interesting come this weekend when the decisions are made. However it goes down it should be fun to watch as there is alot of parity amongst them. Come's down to who's hot and who's not. I havn't watched North's goalie play but I would give the goaltending to Mayo as Yaggy has proved he single handeldy can take over a game. And as most know the goalie at this time of the year usually dictates how far you go. I believe this is how it will go down. Mayo-South-Century-North-Owatonna.

It's at Graham one in the main building.
